Another beer from Corsendonk, first beer I has was their Brown Ale.
This beer has a yeasty aroma with some Belgian spice flavor. The color is a golden with a haze. The haze is formed by large pieces of yeast floating around like a snow globe. the head poured thick and fizzed down quickly.
There is a lot of traditional Belgian spice and yeast flavors in this beer. There is a bit of sweetness in the start of the beer and it drys out well. The mouthfeel is thick, parhaps from all the suspended yeast. The finish is dry and spicy.
This is a good example of a basic Belgian beer. Drinkable and with a lot of Belgian spice flavor.
