#283 Maredsous - Dubbel

This Dubbel has an aroma of Belgian spice and yeast, it is an almost floral smell. The color is a dark brown, with just a hint of light passing through. The head is thick with good retention.

The taste is malty with chocolate and roasted malt, almost coffee notes. There is also a good amount of Belgian spice flavors blending well with the malt. This beer has a hint of aged beer oxidization and dried fruit which goes well with the malt. The mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy. The finish is malty and full of spice.

This is a really good Dubbel, there is lots of flavor and a great mouthfeel. A really enjoyable beer.
