#279 Highland Brewing - Gaelic Ale

This Ale has a slight caramel aroma or a slight dry malt extract aroma. The color is a reddish copper and clear. The head pours full with big bubbles, but fizzes away quickly.

The taste is slight malty with some a caramel notes. There is a hint of hops in taste and in the bitterness. This is surprisingly dry beer there is no residual sweetness. The mouthfeel is thin without much too it and the finish is dry like the rest of the beer.

I don't like how dry this beer is, this could really use a bit of sweetness. I wonder what yeast is used to make such a dry beer.
