The aroma is malty with caramel and toffee aromas. The color is a dark reddish brown with only some light getting though. This beer has a very thick head with great retention lasting long after the initial pour.
Red Brick Ale has a large malt taste, with distinct tannin and grain flavors. This beer is dry with some hints of roasts grain and caramelization of grain. There is no hop flavors except for some bitterness. The mouthfeel is full giving the beer plenty of body. This beer finishes dry with some bitter hints of roast.
This is an alright beer, lots of malt flavors, but over all too dry for my taste.
