The label on this beer describes it as "Brewed for hop disciples", I really enjoy some hops so this sounds like a fine beer for me.
This beer has a strong hop aroma with floral and fruit notes. The color is a reddish brown, or honey color and very clear. The head pours thick and white, with moderate retention.
The taste is very hoppy with plenty of bitterness making my mouth water. The hop flavors are grass and floral, and the bitterness seems to match well with the flavor. There is not much malt, just a little sweetness to give the hop flavors some backbone. The mouthfeel is full and rich. The finish is bitter and dry, but not overly.
This is a fine beer for anyone who likes hops, could use a little contrast, but still lots of good hop flavors. This might be a good beer to age, all the hops should give the beer a long life.
