This beer is a called the Budweiser of Scotland, it is common in pubs and stores. It's also a light lager like Budweiser.
The aroma is mildly hoppy with some lager chalky notes. The color is straw and clear as expected from a light lager. The head pours thin and quickly fizzes away to almost nothing, but there are still plenty of bubbles coming from the bottom of the glass.
The tastes is slightly malty sweet with an accent of honey and a little graininess. There is a pronounced bitterness that tastes a little like hops. There is a hint of green glass skunk but it is so slight it just adds another dimension of flavor to the beer. The mouthfeel is thin and light. The finish is crisp with some bitterness.
This is a pretty good beer, for such a commercial beer. There is a little flavor mixed in with an overall clean taste. I am really impressed, I like this beer more than I expected too.

I live in eastern Oklahoma and used to find Tennents in both Tulsa nd Arkansas liquor stores. I became a huge fan after drinking it 10 yrs ago at the Duke of Perth bar in Chicago. All 4 of the retailers have not carried it for about a year. What gives????
