#196 Bell's - Best Brown Ale
This beer has a hoppy earthy aroma. There is also some malty caramel smell. The color is a mild brown with some red highlights and a little haze. The head is thick with a light brown color but not very good retention.
This beer has a strong malt taste with a grainy biscuity notes. The malt has some caramel flavors, but it is not sweet. There is some floral hop flavors and hop bitterness. The mouth feel thin. The finish is dry with a some bitterness.
If you like a malty beer then this is a good beer for you. I would prefer a little more sweetness and hops, but overall this is a fine beer.
