#342 Macheson - Triple Stout

The aroma is rich and malty with an almost chocolate note. The color is black without any light shining through. The head is pours thick and has low retention, fizzing down the a light cover quickly.

The taste starts with a dark malt sweetness like chocolate. There is an almost old ale taste of dried fruit or raisins. The dark malt has only a little roasted flavor mainly the sweet taste, almost fruity, like a chocolate covered fruit. The mouthfeel is thin and smooth. The finish is clean with a little sugery sweetness.

This is an ok beer, I would like a more roasted flavor that an sweet flavor. But there is nothing really wrong with this beer.
