This beer has a rich roasty aroma . The color is black, with a t0uch of light shining through giving off red highlights. The head pours thick with large bubbles and good retention keeping the beer covered in foam long after the pour.The flaovr is rich with dark malt, and strong roasted notes. There is a sight coffee flavor, and an almost smoky roasted taste. There is an accents of hop floral hop flavor. The mouthfeel is smooth and light with good carbonation. The finish is roasty.
I really like this beer, the roast flavor is rich and enjoyable. This beer makes me think I should brew more homebrewed porters.
